Lena Bell (Osborne) Rogers was born - one of twin girls - on February 8, 1934 in Todd County, Kentucky, and they were the daughters of Reuben Lee Osborne Sr (1905–1961) and Lucille C (Goliday) Osborne (1910–1950).
She was educated in the Todd County School System and was married on August 2, 1958 in Robertson County, Tennessee to Willie Winston Rogers.
Relocating to Cunningham, Tennessee, Lena joined Sulphur Springs African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served as Past President and member of the Senior Choir, Past Vice President of the Missionary Society and former member of the South of the River Mass Choir. She was also employed for many years in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System in Child Nutrition for various schools.
She was 85 years old when she passed away on November, 3, 2019 at the Ahava Healthcare Center of Clarksville.
Preceded in death by her parents, by her brother Bernis Jackson and by her sister Rose Mary Osborne (ca 1932- ) and her own twin Dora Bell (Osborne) Leavell (1934-18 Oct 2002), Lena was survived by her husband, three sons, two daughters, a married Osborne brother and a number of other family members and friends.
Funeral Services were held at Hooker Funeral Home, and burial was in Sulpher Springs Cemetery at Cunningham, Tennessee.
