Rena was born in Appling Georgia , to the late Henry Lamb and Josephine J. Evans.
At an early age she was baptized at the
First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she remained faithful throughtout her life. She served on the Deaconess Ministry, Pastor's Aide Ministry and Food Committee. Rena worked as a cook for several restaurants and later
became a Personal Care Aide. She also loved to wear her hats & her fancy clothes.
She was preceded in death by five brothers:
James W. Jackson, Rufus Jackson, Willie Marion Jackson, John Edward
Jackson and James Evans Jr.
Three Sisters: Elizabeth Jackson,
Jeanette Evans and Eva Jean Rickerson.
Her Lifelong memories are left to be cherished by those who have survived her. Four Daughters: Vera Collins, Annette Jones, Paulette Jones and Evangelist Doris Jones all of Augusta,
Ga.,
Two Sons: Abe M. Jones of Augusta ,Ga and John P Jones of Philadephia Pa.
Five Grandchildren: Nathanial Collins Jr, Matthew A. Jones, Mykela Williams, Josephine Jones, Enrique Jones, Emanuel Jones
and two devoted granchildren, Anita Lamb and Forrest Jones.
Six Great-Grands : London Collins, Camillie Scott, Ashton Brown, Lil
Nath Collins III, Elijah Hill and Joliaya Jones.
Three Sisters: Eloise (Tillman ) Burns, Grovetown, Ga,
Bernice (Rudolph ) Dorsey, Harlem, Ga., Susie (Tyrone) Kidd,
