John Alexander Adams was the son of Malachi "Mack" Adams and Elizabeth Clementine "Betsy" Roberts Adams. Both his death certificate and the Fork Hill Baptist Church cemetery directory of graves list him as having been buried in the Fork Hill Cemetery. He was married to Mary Jane Adams Adams, daughter of Bynum Adams. Their children were Cameron Alexander Adams, Oscar C. Adams, Laura Adams, and Lila Adams according to The Adams Family History, compiled by Donald Adams, 1981. This John A. Adams is not the John A. Adams, son of Elizabeth Jane Adams and who was married to Mary Ruth Jones.
