VISTA — Millard Lee Bell, 84, died Friday, March 31, 2000, at his home.

Born Aug. 7, 1915, in North Carolina, he lived in Vista for 22 years. He was a carpenter for Bell Construction.

Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alzonia "Pat" Bell of Vista; son and daughter-in-law Garrett Jesse and Donna Bell of Vista; daughters and sons-in-law Bonnie and Jim Skinner of Oceanside, Jessie and Richard Hudson of Vista and Gina and Mark Cooper Sr. of Winston Salem, N.C.; sisters and brother-in-law Mabel and Thurman Sparks and Ruby Barber, all of Wilkesboro, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. Burial will follow.
