Johnny Ray Cunningham a lifelong resident of Las Vegas NM was called to heaven on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019.

He was born on January 7, 1985 to John Cunningham and Geraldine Salinas in Denver Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his brother: Jay Cunningham; paternal grandparents: Jay and Opal Cunningham; maternal grandparents: Irene and Rafael Salinas.

He is survived by his fiancé, Clare Chavez and his kids; Angelica, Sean, Marcos, Leila, and Dalila. At the time of his passing he was a resident of Albuquerque; parents: John Cunningham (Patsy) of Las Vegas, NM and Geraldine Salinas (William) of Las Vegas, NM; sisters and brothers: Kimberly Cunningham and family of Las Vegas, NM, Amber Cunningham and daughter of Las Vegas, NM, William “Sito” Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM and Robert Garcia and family of Las Vegas, NM.

It is there that he worked as a CNM Certified mechanic and auto body repairman. Johnny Ray enjoyed spending his free time with his family and making many memories fishing camping and riding along side of Clare and his Biker community. He was well known for supporting multiple charites by participating in various bike runs around the state. Johnny Ray lived to the fullest always willing to go the extra mile to lend a hand for friend’s family or even a complete stranger. As a devoted partner and father his fondest pastimes were family fishing and watching his favorite football team, the Oakland Raiders. Johnny Always had a happiness and the most genuine sense of humor about him and he could always bring a smile where ever he was that will never be forgotten. Although he was mourning the death of his brother Jay who passed in July Johnny Ray was always there for anyone in need. His memory will forever be cherished in so many of the hearts he touched and his passing has truly left a void in all of our lives.

His rosary and funeral will be provided by Rogers Mortuary. The rosary will be held on November 13, 2019 at 7:00pm, at Immaculate Conception Church with the funeral being at the same location the following morning at 9:00am with the burial immediately afterward at St. Anthony Cemetery.
