Shawn Patrick Jackson passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019. He was a truck driver and loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Shawn was a strong believer in God and the power of prayer.
Shawn was born May 3, 1972 in Welch, WV, a son of Cletis Jackson and Vicki Lockhart-Jackson-McBride. Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thurman Lockhart (Deceased) and Dorothy Lockhart (Deceased); paternal grandparents, William H. Jackson (1909-1989) and Ardella Cook-Jackson (1914-2003), and Drema Bailey (Deceased).
Survivors include his mother Vicki Lockhart-Jackson-McBride & husband Harold McBride of Welch, WV; father, Cletis Jackson & wife Chris Jackson of Iaeger, WV; two children, Dustin Jackson of Mohawk, WV, and Julianna Jackson-Carter of Logan, WV; stepdaughter, NyAisa Carrington of Gary, WV; stepbrother, Wayne McBride & wife Amanda McBride of Bluefield, VA; two stepsisters, Carla Bailey of Iaeger, WV and Alex Solarz & husband Jeffrey Solarz of Richboro, PA; former wife, DeEdgra Dewitt of Gary, WV; a special friend, Crystal Ferrell of Raysal, WV; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon with Reverend John Wheeler and Reverend Danny Bowles officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery on Johnny Cake near Iaeger, WV.
