Actor. He was best known to television viewers as 'Mitchell Sherman' on the CBS daytime soap opera "The Young and the Restless" from 1986 to 1998 and 2008 to 2011. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles and later began his acting career in the early 1960s. His "small screen" debut took place in 1964 on the television series "The Outer Limits." Besides "The Young and the Restless," he also appeared in such series as "Peyton Place," "The Fugitive," "Judd for the Defense," "The F.B.I.," "Mission: Impossible," "The Partridge Family," "Emergency!," "General Hospital," and "Simon & Simon." His "big screen" debut came in 1963 in an uncredited role in the film "The Ugly American." His later film credits would include "Valley of the Dolls" (1967), "Moonfire" (1970), The Hindenburg" (1975), "Leadbelly" (1976), and "Coma" (1978). He also worked on the theatrical stage and in radio during his long career. He passed away from complications of cancer.
