Gloria Peterson, 81, of Tioga passed away at the Tioga Medical Center on Friday, October 25, 2019.

Gloria (Gullickson) Peterson, was born on October 23, 1938 in Bowbells, ND. She was raised, educated and graduated from Bowbells High School. When she was 24 years old, she moved to Westhope, living there until 1968. Gloria and her family then moved to Tioga, where she raised her daughter, Laurel Ann and son, Keith.

Her compassion was to help others so she chose to get her degree in the nursing program from Dickinson State College in 1980. After graduating she moved back to Tioga and worked as a Register Nurse.

Gloria was proud of her Norwegian heritage. She was the happiest when camping and being in the outdoors, she especially loved horses. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds whether it was digging in the dirt, planting, pulling weeds or pruning her flowers.

She is survived by her son, Keith Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Gullickson; daughter, Laurel Ann and grandson, Matthew.

In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
