Jesse W. Chester age 89 of Pegram passed away Friday, November 1, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton E. Chester, Sr. and mother Jessie Chester; brother Clifton Chester, Jr., brother Charles Chester, sister Barbara Templeton, and sister Lois Wade, and by his former spouse Evelyn Law Chester.

He is survived by his brother Joe (Sonny) Chester and sister Betty Kerrigan, his son Michael (Donna) Chester, son Roger (Christy) Chester and son Brian Chester; and grandchildren Rachel (Clay) Smith, Angela Knight, Erin (Roger) Roberts, Matthew (Whitney) Chester, Kyle Chester, Zane Chester, Kaitlyn (Ryan) Hostler; and great-grandchildren William, Avery, Rhiannon and Louis.

Jesse served his country in the United States Army and later retired from Monroe Systems for Business after over 30 years of service as a Service Manager. He enjoyed his garden and later raising cattle. He also enjoyed hunting, music and his dogs.

Visitation will be Sunday from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Services will follow in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home at 4:00 pm. Burial will be Monday, 3:30 pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
