Mrs. Cordelia Lee Cook Shore, 90, of Lenoir, North Carolina, died September 22, 2002 at her residence.

She was born March 12, 1912 in Watauga County to the late Horace G. Cook and Vesta Harrison Cook. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the past president of WMU and Sunday school teacher at her Florida Church.

Survivors include two sons, two daughters, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace G. Cook and Vesta Harrison Cook; her husband, Stewart Glenn Shore; one brother, Astor Cook and one sister, Lena Cook.

Services will be conducted Thursday morning at Pendry's Chapel, with Reverend Mark Dula officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist church Cemetery.

Pendry's Funeral Home in Lenoir is in charge of the arrangements.
