PAMELA HAMILTON
Great shock and sorrow was experienced on Monday, November 19, 1973 when news was received of the sudden death of Pamela May Hamilton at Almonte General Hospital youngest daughter of Frank Hamilton and his wife Edith Virgin of Huntley Township. Pamela, who was born February 28, 1963 is survived by her parents and Allan, R.R. 4, Almonte, Heather (Mrs. Robert Clement), Almonte and Sandy and Gwen at home. She was predeceased by a brother Ivan and was granddaughter of Mr. Harry Hamilton, Carleton Place and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Virgin, Clayton. Pam was a popular pupil at Huntley Centennial School and was in attendance in grade six until the beginning of her short illness. The body rested at the Kerry Funeral Home Almonte where service was held on Wednesday, November 21 at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Robert McCrea of the United Church, where Pam had been a faithful Sunday School member. The pallbearers were six uncles, Bill Stewart, Ivan Hamilton, Alex Hamilton, Albert Hamilton, Robert McKenzie and Nathan Virgin. Flower bearers were Arnold Virgin, Alfred Hamilton, Robbie McKenzie, Bruce Stewart, Donald Stewart and Kevin O'Connell. Pam's funeral was attended by a great number of friends. Burial was in the family plot at the Auld Kirk Cemetery.
