Jack T. Brooks, 79, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 in Bartow. Born November15, 1939 in Kansas City, KS, Mr. Brooks was a resident of Umatilla for 6 years, after being a long term resident Longwood, FL. He was a Aviation Maintenance Consultant. He was a avid traveler, both nationally and internationally. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, fishing, hunting and a firearms collector. Jack was a member of the National Business Aviation Association, Central Florida Cruisers Association and the Single Action Shooting Society He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Umatilla. He loved his family and enjoyed is fellowman. Conversation and making friends came easy for Jack. He was just as comfortable astride his Harley on a cruise with friends as he was going over specs of a new aircraft with a client. He will be missed by all, He is preceded in death by his wife Audre C. Brooks. He is survived by a loving family that includes a son: Dr. Tim P. Brooks (Marcia) of Bartow, a daughter: Dawn M. Dennaoui (Degaulle) of Orlando, a brother: Jimmy Brooks (Julie) of Cincinnati OH, three grandchildren: Jack and Grace Brooks, Bartow, Gabrielle Dennaoui of Orlando. Family will receive friends Saturday November 9, 2019 from 2:30- 3:00 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church,1400 N. Central Ave, Umatilla. A Memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the church.
