Dona Mae Abney was born on October 4, 1929, Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Russell and Maxine (Wyatt) Abney. She attended Marshalltown schools graduating in 1947.
She was married on November 15, 1952, to Donald Wills. She lived in Marshalltown all her life.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years Don Wills; her sons Dane (Brenda) Wills of Marshalltown, and David Wills of White Lake Michigan; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters in law Virginia Abney of Cedar Rapids and Murle Wills of Marshalltown; and nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Don Abney; four sisters-in-law Shirley (Palmer) Dixon, Marion (Ted) Hickmal, Margerie (Cal) Lockwood, and MaryLou (Leon) Smith; and nephew Todd Abney.
