Mary Ellen Dodds, 93, of Middlebury died at 6:04 am on Friday, October 25, at Goshen Health Hospital.

She was born on August 21, 1926, in Elkhart County to Raymond and Alta (Rheinheimer) Good. On May 29, 1948 in LaGrange, she married John F. Dodds, he died December 20, 2007.

Surviving are three sons, Steve & Fatima Dodds of South Africa, Brian & Linda Dodds and Scott Dodds both of Virginia; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Howard Good of Arizona; two sisters, Geraldine Marsh of Virginia and Evelyn McGibbens of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Richard and Les Good and a sister, Eleanor Barnes. Mary Ellen was a homemaker all of her life and had attended Pathway Church, Middlebury. She was a wonderful Christian mother that has left a legacy for her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will held two hours prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Saturday, November 9, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Jason Brooks. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
