Leland Graham, 71, St. Louis, died Saturday as a result of injuries suffered when he lost control of the car he was driving on an M-46 overpass at U.S. 27. State Police from the Ithaca post said the Graham car apparently hit a patch of ice, went out of control, and skidded into a car driven by Richard Molyneux, 33, of Grand Rapids. Molyneux was not seriously injured.

A lifelong resident of this area, Mr. Graham had been a farmer and was a carpenter for several years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Michael of St. Louis, Mrs. Helen Barnes of Haslett, and Mrs. Elsie Curtiss of Alma; five sons, Lawrence and Warren of St. Louis, Donald of Hastings, and Robert and Norman of Elwell; a sister, Mrs. Roland Robart of Saginaw; two brothers, Leslie of Saginaw and George of Traverse City; 22 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Graham will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Chapel Gardens Cemetery in Gratiot County. Arrangements are being made by the Carter Funeral Home.
