NORTON, VA – Marjorie Ann Wells Baldwin, 79, died Thursday, Jan, 24, 2013 in Norton Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. Wells and Leona Moore Wells. She was a member of the First Church of God in Norton.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Baldwin of Norton, VA; a daughter and her husband, Mitzi and Chuck Greene of Liberty, SC; 2 granddaughters, Megan and Seth Williams, Bethany Greene; her sisters, Charlotte Estep, Irene Stewart, Wilma and Kenneth Hubbard, Janet Wells and Esther and Paul Bolling all of Norton, VA; her brothers, Thomas Lynn Wells of Lexington, VA and Glenn Allen and Irene Wells of Norton, VA; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 PM Sunday at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:30 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kirt Dale officiating. Graveside committal services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday at the Laurel Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM Sunday to travel in procession to the cemetery. The family request memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
