Linda was born on May 11, 1942, in Fulton, Kentucky, to the late Joseph Harold and Louise King Muzzall. Linda was a devoted wife and mother. She was a kind-hearted woman who was easy to befriend and hard to anger. She loved to quilt and crochet and leaves behind many beautiful quilts and afghans. She suffered from many physical ailments and resided at Winters Park Nursing for over 11 years. Over these years she displayed a strong resolve in the face of pain and bodily weakness. Despite being in the nursing home, Linda desired to become part of a church family, and last year joined First Baptist Church Garland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hood, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Hood, of Irving, Texas; stepdaughter, Robin Hood, of Tallapoosa, Georgia; sisters, Judy Pickering and Charlotte Pickering; and brother, Joe Muzzall, all of South Fulton, Tennessee. W5
