A memorial service is scheduled at a later date at Grace Presbyterian Church.
Born in Cumby on Nov. 17, 1900, she was the daughter of Polk and Josie Boswell Wilson. She married Raymond A. Gray in Greenville on June 26, 1924. Mrs. Gray was a homemaker and civic volunteer. She was a life member of PTA, Eclecta Club, James Bible Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Women of The Church, Church Women United, and LeJardin Beau Study Club of Dallas. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Gray is survived by a son-in-law, Tillman Smithey of Dallas; one daughter, Jeanne Gray Smithey of Dallas; grandchildren, Eliza Janes of Dallas, Mitchell Smithey and Cathy Smithey of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Caroline Janes of Dallas and Austin Smithey of Greenville; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to Caring Fund, Grace Presbyterian Village, 550 E. Ann Arbor, Dallas, Tex. 75216.
Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
