Jason Alan Baldwin, 37, of Parkersburg, died October 30, 2019, at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1982 in Parkersburg a son of Timothy Alan Ruble and Teresa Baldwin Battle.

Jason was a US Army Veteran of 10 years having served as a Sergeant First Class, in multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning two bronze stars. He was in the United States Army Special Forces, Green Berets, and enjoyed the strong comradery he found. He enjoyed flowers, planting many around his home and was known as a hard worker. He loved his friend, family but most of all his children.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by four children he was very proud of, Morgan Layne Nichols, Alexander Chase Baldwin, Rhylee Izzabelle Baldwin, Julian Robert Bell; one brother, Randy Earl Robert Baldwin; one sister, Jessica Marie Ruble; paternal grandmother, Jean Marie Ruble; and maternal grandmother, Mable Pauline Litton.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Vaughn Baldwin.

Funeral services will be Thursday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Bryon Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
