Jackie Rose Jackson Armstrong, 50, passed away August 16, 2007, in Campbell County. Born in Scott County, January 17, 1957, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Jackson Tims; grandparents: Lawrence and Pearl Watson Blevins, and Theodore and Fannie Bell Neal Jackson; great-grandparents: Houston and Rosa Marcum Blevins, and Joseph and Savanna Bell Watson; one uncle, J. D. Blevins; two aunts: Ruth Burress and Barbara King; and one niece, Ericka Rose Jackson. She enjoyed going to the lake and camping, art, writing, traveling the world, and lived life to its fullest. She loved meeting new people and never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and her life was all about her son, mother, father and her whole family that she dearly loved. She was a Registered Nurse and traveled during her nursing career where she was a critical care specialist. She is survived by her parents: John D. and Lena Blevins Jackson of Oneida; one son, Daniel Brian Armstrong of Oneida; the father of her son, Brian Armstrong; two brothers: John D. Jackson, Jr. and wife, Deanna, of Oneida, and Lawrence E. Jackson and wife, Linda, of Macon, Georgia; three sisters: Judy Robbins and husband, William, of Helenwood, Triva Lawson Byrd and husband, Mack, of Oneida, and Samantha Bell of Morristown; and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted August 21, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Lon Chenowith, Bro. Lawrence Jackson, and Bro. Robert King officiating. Music was provided by Brooke Jackson, Dallas West, Steve Lloyd and Nick Manis. Interment followed in Marcum-Kidd Cemetery. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
