Rebecca Blanche (Tucker) Lang was the child of Williamson County natives, Otis Enoch Tucker of Andice and Clara Blanche Lackey of Georgetown.

Rebecca passed peacefully into the hands of God on the evening of November 1, 2019.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Rebecca Blankenship and husband Al of Georgetown; son, Jonathan Eric Lang and wife Ellen Marie of Houston; her grandchildren: Matthew Albert Blankenship, Emily Ann Lang, Andrew Jon-David Blankenship, Sara Grace Blankenship, and Joshua Eric Lang. She was loved and will be missed by all members of her family.

Rebecca moved back to Georgetown in 1992. She was a teacher in the Granger ISD and retired from Granger ISD. She was a first through third grade primary school teacher at the beginning of her career. She taught high school government and history prior to her retirement. After her children and grandchildren, Rebecca viewed teaching the future of our country, as her greatest blessing.

Rebecca moved to Sun City and was a resident there for approximately 24 years. She made many friends in that community and will be missed by them all.

In her retirement, Rebecca volunteered in many aspects of the community. She gave her time at the Worship Place in Sun City, at the Republican Headquarters in Georgetown, and at Vacation Liberty School for many summers.

Her family wishes to thank all of the individuals who have reached out to them to offer their support during their time of need.

A time of visitation will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home on Friday, November 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown on Saturday, November 9th at 1:00 p.m.

You are cordially invited to pay your respects to Rebecca, as you desire, at these times.
