Eugene B. Adams, 93, of Paducah, passed away at 12:09 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at The Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Eugene was a United States Navy Veteran of WW11, member of VFW post 1191 and a member of First Baptist Church, Calvert City. He retired from SKW Alloys’ in Calvert City where he was affectionately known as Adam 12 to all his friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Mollie Marie Elliott Adams; son, Michael Gene Adams and wife, Barbara Adams of Paducah; two brothers, Lynn Malon Adams and Larry Wayne Adams; two grandchildren, Michael Elliott Adams and wife Teri of Paducah, Bryan Keith Adams and wife, Lee Ann of Iuka, KY; and four great grandchildren, Haley Ellen Adams, Chaney Marie Adams, Candice Lynn Overby and Dalton Lee Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conley Bryan Adams, Lucy McCoy Adams; infant son, Bryan Elliott Adams; sister, Joyce Nadine Adams Owens; and brother, Bobby Ray Adams.
Funeral services for Eugene will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Visitation for Eugene will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
