Sharon Ann Sizemore, 63, of Hilldale, passed away Sunday Nov. 3, 2019, at CAMC General in Charleston after a short illness.
Born Dec. 22, 1955 in Hinton, she was the daughter of Benny W. and Juanita Ayers Boone, both of Hilldale.
Sharon was a graduate of Talcott High School and Midwestern State University. She also earned a Master's degree from Marshall University. She retired as a drug treatment specialist from the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson. Sharon was a member of River Valley Baptist Church, and loved playing piano, crafting, horses and animals. She was a proud breast cancer survivor.
Besides her parents, survivors include her husband of 45 years, Clark Sizemore; two sons, Philip Sizemore and fiancee' Shelley Parks and son Drew Parks of Frederick, MD, and Jeremy Patrick Sizemore and grandson Jack Sizemore, along with step grandchildren, Kevin and Kara Maples, all of Winchester, VA; one brother, Bryan Boone and wife Cindy of Hilldale; one sister, Kathy L. Boone of Hinton; two nephews, Brandon and Cody Boone, both of Hilldale; best friend, Rhonda Bennett Allen of Bruceton Mills, WV.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
