David Russell Bean, 63, of Lexington passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday, November 12th at Salisbury National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the home from 4 to 6pm after the graveside service.
David was born December 23, 1955 in Forsyth County to Doyle Deward Bean and Mildred Rice Bean. He retired after 26 years as weld shop manager for Proctor & Schwartz. David served in the United States Army and attended Church of Christ Faith. Some of his hobbies included guns and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his life partner of 22 years, Nikki Williams, of the home; his mother, Mildred Bean, of Advance, NC; his son, Michael Jason Bean, of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Cindy Candenquist (Arthur), of Amissville, VA; special granddaughter, Kenzie Bean; other grandchildren, Addison Crookenden, Kane Williams, Ben Williams, Hadley Crookenden, Trinity Williams; and special furry cats, Riley, Myles, Winston and Grayland.
