Veronica (Ruiz) Castro, 79, of Brady, Texas went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, November 1, 2019 in Llano.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10:00 am at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady with interment to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.

Veronica was born on January 13, 1940 in Brady, Texas to Luis Ruiz and Dionisa (Morin) Ruiz.

She was a resident of Llano and McCulloch Counties. She enjoyed being outdoors tending to her flower gardens and picking pecans from her yard. She also loved to crochet. Veronica loved her Lord and her family dearly and was a devout Catholic.

Those left to cherish Veronica (Ruiz) Castro memory are her sister, Rita Sifuentes of Irving; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and her 2 nieces Lisa Montez Otto and Lana Montez Moseley and her nephew Robert Montez, who took special care of her in her final days.

Veronica is preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Dionisa Ruiz; 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her beloved son, Eric Wayne Castro.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope for the Heart, McCulloch County.

Serving as pallbearers are her nephews and great nephews.
