Laverne "Tom" Rennert, 82, of Oshkosh passed away Sat. March 5, 1994 at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1912 in Oshkosh the son of Otto and Emma Krueger Rennert. Laverne married Marcella Leu Nov. 15, 1929 in Green Bay.
He was employed at C.R. Meyer Co. as a construction worker until his retirement in June, 1976. He attended St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife Marcella, 12 children Laverne (Bette), Oshkosh, Betty (Bill) Holland, Alabama, Ralph (Sue), Henderson, NV James (Millie), Oshkosh, Nancy (Bill) Seibert, Oshkosh, Jane Henry, Milwaukee, Ray (Mary), Carol Schmidt, Donna (Ken) Kealey, Robert, Sally (Jim) Rabe, Dave (Rita), all of Oshkosh; a brother, Dale (Tress), Oshkosh; two sisters, Bessie Harth, Milwaukee, Carmen Winchester, Milwaukee, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Roy and LaForest, two sisters, Opal Schultz and Dorothy Nichols.
Funeral services will be held Mon. (today) 6:00 PM at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Koenig officiating.
Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
