Timothy D. Horton, 54, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Community Care Center, Union, Missouri.

Timothy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 25, 1964, a son of Donald & Patricia (Wisa) Horton.

He was the husband of Justine (Lawwill) Horton. They were united in marriage on December 10, 1988, in Hampton, Virginia.

Timothy was retired from the US Navy where he served as a boatswain mate. He later worked for Sporlan Valve in Washington and also was a cook at Shy & Schwartz's Bar, where he was known as "Mel".

Timothy is survived by his wife Justine, of the home, by his father, Donald Horton, of Marthasville, Missouri; by two sons, Douglas Andrew Horton, of Tupelo, Mississippi; and Charles Eugene Horton, of Hermann, Missouri; by three sisters, Connie Campbell & husband Jack, of Washington, Missouri; Holly Horton-Tyree, of Gerald, Missouri; and Amy Horton, of Washington, Missouri; by a sister-in-law, Lori Waggoner, of Hampton, Virginia; and by nieces and nephews, Scott Campbell, Stephanie Herget, Paul Tyree, Audrey & Grady Lamb, and Tyler and Justin Bowman. He is preceded in death by his mother and a nephew Owen Lamb.

Timothy enjoyed hunting, camping, cooking, doing family research, and smoking a good cigar. He also was a gun enthusiast, especially with historical guns and he belonged to the NRA.

A private visitation will be held and military burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
