WILLARD, Margaret Jean, from Sandston, Va., died peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Margaret was born July 19, 1934, in Bradford, Pa., the daughter of Samuel H. Kerswill and Margaret A. Fuller. Margaret had a passion for reading and music. She loved spending time with family, playing games, cards, and she enjoyed detective stories. She was always very active outside with her great-grandchildren and still danced to live music at 83 years old. Margaret loved to bake and had a sweet tooth like no other. She worked for Henrico County as a teacher's aide for special needs children. Margaret also enjoyed working for the Diamond as an usher for the Richmond Braves, and security for RMC Event Staff. She is survived by her three children, daughter, Maida Graham of Henrico, Va.; daughter, Jerri Barks of Sandston, Va.; and son, Danee Willard of Sandston, Va. She had seven grandchildren, John, Leanne, Tanya, Nick, Daniel, Justin and Taby; and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Aiden, Bryce, Zander and Lila. She is also survived by a brother, Sam Kerswill of Silver Springs, Fla.; and a sister, Cheryl Sharp of Portville, N.Y. In addition to her husband, Lewis F. Willard, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Creighton, Dorothy Rinker and Emily Kerswill. A memorial service for Margaret will be at Washington Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, April 28, at 10 a.m.
