Denise Ann Porter (Foget), 66 of Orlando, Florida, passed away October 2, 2019 at the Cornerstone Hospice Center in Orlando.

Denise was born on December 29, 1952 in Rockville Center, New York to Robert and Dolores Foget. She grew up in Long Island, New York and graduated from Holy Trinity high school in Hicksville, New York in 1970. She was United in marriage to Clark Dana Lampman on January 15, 1977 in Orlando, Florida. Though the marriage would end in divorce, the couple were blessed with two children, Shelley Denise Locke and Brian Scott Lampman. Denise remarried Donald Leo Porter on November 12, 1987 and had a step son who she loved and raised as her own son, Donald Leo Porter, Jr. Before her health kept her from working, Denise was proud of her career as a laboratory technician. She enjoyed working in the medical field and found it rewarding helping people through her work. Denise loved spending time with her family, and cherished the opportunity to be around her grandson Benjamin Scott Lampman. Denise will remain in the hearts of her children, Shelley, Brian, and Donnie; son-in-law James Locke; grandson, Benjamin Lampman; siblings, Kate Landry (George Landry), Bob Foget (Darie Foget), Carolyn Argo (Jeff Argo), Mary Therese AmRhein (Jim AmRhein), Clare McCollum (Ron McCollum), and Matthew Foget (Jennifer Vosotas); former husband and friend Clark Lampman; nieces, Kristin AmRhein, Janine AmRhein, Sara McCollum Otero (Victor Otero); nephews, Sean McCollum (April McCollum), Josh McCollum, Tyler Argo (Casey Argo), Ryan Argo, Nick Foget, Phil Foget, Christopher Foget, Michael Foget, Joshua Foget, Nicholas Vosotas; Uncles Bill Pearce and Jim Nutt. Preceded in death by parents Robert Foget and Dolores Foget, and brother Christopher Foget.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday November 10, 2019 at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. MINNEOLA AVE. Clermont, FL 34711.The family suggests that in lieu of flowers to please contribute to Paws 4 a Cure in Denise’s name. This organization donates funds to pet owners who do not have the financial means to provide veterinary care for their pets. Denise worked with several groups like this throughout the years when she needed financial support for her dogs Jagger, Hershey, and Bingo. The financial support she received meant a lot to Denise and it would mean a lot to the family to be able to give back in the same way.
