Lynda Louise Morris, 52, died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, in Greensboro, N.C.

Lynda started her career with the Federal Aviation Administration at Norfolk International Airport. She then went on to become an instructor with the Virginia Beach Adult Learning Center specializing in computer literacy and landscape design. She recently started her own business, Gorgeous Gardens Inc.

She was founder and past president of the Pines of Warwick Garden Club as well as the past recording secretary for the Virginia Flower and Garden Club.

Survivors include her loving husband, Stephen L. Morris; her parents, Dale and Zelma Stoner of Maggie Valley, N.C.; her sister, Patricia Stoner; her stepson, Ron Morris; stepdaughter, Cynthia R. Young; her grandson, Bobby; granddaughter, Isabella; and her beloved dog, Benji.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Baylake United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ted David. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens or to the Virginia Beach S.P.C.A.
