Pastor Steven Ray Lambert, age 59, of Columbus, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 6, 2016.

He was born to the late John and Lucille Lambert on August 12, 1956.

Pastor Lambert was the founder and Senior Pastor at Hope Christian Ministries.

He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife of 34 years, Vernita Lambert;

daughters, Talitha ( Montineze) Johnson, Stephani (Victor) Shepherd, Varayla (Christopher) Limalima, Jahnah Lambert;

four grandchildren;

four siblings, special Sister-in-Law Sarah Wilson, family friends Alfred and Diane Simmons and extended family and friends.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road, where family will gather from 11 am until time of service. Pastor Kenneth E. Moore, officiating.
