Born in Lykens, March 3, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Ceylon and Miriam Pinkerton Minnich.
Judy was a retired seamstress from the former Bestock Garment Factory.
She was of the Protestant faith. Judy enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Bush; two brothers, David and Jack Minnich.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Melvin C. Zimmerman Jr.; a daughter, April Bush (Kevin), Tower City; two sons, Tod Zimmerman (Lisa), Pillow, and Corey Zimmerman (Sherry), Williamstown; two sisters, Dawn Russelavage, Tower City, and Lynn Aukstakalnis, Williamstown; a brother, Mike Minnich, Millersburg; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Judy's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City, with the Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Neighbors United Cafe c/o Mary Gibson, 1404 School Lane, Tower City, PA 17980.
