Billy CharlesTye, 63, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was walked into Heaven, October 2, 2019 surrounded by the girls that were his world: his wife and daughters.

He was born on July 22, 1956 in Fort Worth, TX.

He was a family man to the extreme and stole the hearts of all three girls and the love of his life, Kimberly. Billy met Kimberly on a blind date and that very night he told her he loved her, and he knew then he would marry her someday. He was indeed a man of his word as they married on July 21, 1979 and they celebrated 40 years of marriage this past July. Billy taught his girls what it meant to be a husband by how he loved their mom and he and Kimberly got to savor many moments at the beach and by the Bay after their move to Corpus. Billy loved his baby girls to the moon and back and if you spent any time with him, you'd know how much he loved to hear them sing. Billy was "Beans" to his grandkids and adored each one. Reese and Bryn were the first to steal his heart, and his name will continue in Tye.

Billy spent 47 years doing what he loved, living out his passion, in the car wash industry. He was known to many as "Mr. Carwash" and he owns Texas Wash Systems. He always told his girls, "If you're doing what you love, it's not a job."

Billy accepted Christ in his youth. He was involved in the AMANA program for over 20 years, an AMANA Commander for 5 years and on the AMANA Missionary Board of East Texas for 5 years. Billy was an Elder at Grace Bible Church in Nacogdoches, had unwavering faith and was known for modeling Jesus.

He loved helping people and giving to others and would drop anything or his plans to help you, wanting nothing in return. He was known for driving miles to help others, said he was just paying it forward, and asked them to do the same. He was funny, a wise cracker to many and kept everyone laughing. He loved Hallmark movies and blamed his tears on the fan. He loved golf, motorcycles, scuba diving, water skiing, bull riding, anything that flew and anything cars.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Charles Tye and is survived by his soulmate Kimberly Chaney Tye, three daughters, Misty Beasley and husband Jimmy, Charlsey Jimenez and husband Mikey, Kelsey Tye, two granddaughters Reese and Bryn Beasley, one grandson Tye Jimenez and numerous other families and friends that are family.
