Anthony Charles Mason was born on July 22, 1953 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. On October 26, 2019, he made his transition in the comfort of his home. In 1971, he graduated from Booker T Washington High School. He worked at Pilgrim’s Pride over 35 years before retiring. Charles truly lived life to the fullest and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Mason, of Mount Pleasant, Texas; father Elijah Howard, of Corsicana, Texas; sister Mae Hill, of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and his brother Montique Mason, of Mount Pleasant, Texas. He is survived by three children: Alesia Holloman, Charles Holloman, and Shakelia Holloman of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two nieces: Nora Evans and Sounjia Alexander of Los Angeles, California; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by a host of family and friends.
