Son of John T. and Thelma Lavada Ohler Barber. John is preceded in death by his son, John David Barber; his parents, one brother; Larry Barber; and two sisters, Edith Hand and Sue Johnson.
John was retired after working as a Lab Technician for 27 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas. John enjoyed volunteering his time to the Area Agency on Aging and Legacy Hospice. John also loved fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; one daughter and son-in-law; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; ten brothers and sisters; numerous nephews and nieces, along with a host of other friends and family.
