Nina Isabelle McKay Armstrong passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Huntsville, Alabama at the age of 101 years. She was born on June 29, 1918 in a log cabin on her family farm near the intersection of US 431 and Dug Hill Road in Madison County, Alabama. Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert N. Armstrong; her daughter, Nina Nemo Armstrong; her brother, Nolan H. McKay; and by her parents, Prentice A. McKay and Beulah M. Bowers McKay. Isabelle is survived by her son, Robby W. Armstrong; four grandsons; three great-granddaughters; one great-great grandson; and one great-great granddaughter. A graveside service will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville on Saturday, November 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with Collier Raley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
