Believed to be the first practicing Filipino medical doctor in Hawai‘i; U.S. Army captain in the Korean War stationed at Schofield Barracks; staff member at Tripler Army Medical Center in 1951; chief of staff at Wahiawa General Hospital twice. Survived by wife, Myrna; daughters, Yolanda Santos-King and Melissa; granddaughters, Caitlin, Rachel and Courtney King; sisters. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; service 7 p.m. Visitation also 9 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary; service 10:30 a.m.; burial 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
