Jo Ann (Yung Ja) Bell, 77, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 St. Thomas Murfreesboro. She was born in Daegu Gumi, Korea and lived in Bradyville.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Bell of Bradyville; her brother, Lee Hae Do of Chun Chon, Korea; and her best friends, In Pae Buttrey of Murfreesboro and Kim Knox of Bradyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in Korea.

Jo Ann and Jerry met in Korea when he was in the service. They didn’t have anything when they met and together, they built a good life together. They never had an argument except maybe when they were fishing in which they enjoyed doing together. She was a gentle soul and loved her dog, Buddy and her cats, Lucy and Tiger. She was a homemaker, had pride in her flowers and was a member of the Woodbury First Baptist Church.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 10 am until 1:45 pm at Woodbury Funeral Home with graveside services following at 2 pm in the Riverside Cemetery. Bro. Dean Anderson will officiate her service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cannon Co.
