Sandra Adeline Strickland, 83, of Texas City, Texas, a former Baytown, Texas resident for many years, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in League City, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019 with a visitation from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m., at Texas City Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will be on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Midway Cemetery in Woodville, Texas.
Sandra was born May 22, 1936 in Dodge, Texas. She was a member of Texas City Missionary Baptist Church. She was a billing clerk for Milwhite Company and Baker Hughes.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Walter Robert Strickland; her mother, Pearl Jane Huron Reynolds; brothers, Charles Edward Reynolds and James Carl Reynolds and sister, Dora Louis Hales.
Survivors include son, Walter Strickland and wife Judy; daughter, Janie Ferguson and husband Jimmy and son, Carl Strickland and wife, Gina; grandchildren, Leslie Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Cliffton Ferguson, Robert Strickland and Trey Strickland; great grandchildren, Miranda Woodruff, Shelby Sassenger, Ariel Rameriz, Nathan Strickland, Khylee Strickland, Garrett Ferguson, Easton Strickland and Fischer Strickland and great-great grandchild, Easton Sassenger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Leslie Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Cliffton Ferguson, Robert Strickland, Trey Strickland, and Nathan Strickland. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Deckard and Robert Gregg.
