Clarence A. "Art" Barbee, 95, a resident of Heritage Manor, died there at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004.
He was born May 4, 1909, in Hettinser, N.D., to John Thomas and Mary Ellen Cooley Barbee.
Surviving are one daughter, Helen Craig of Normal; one brother, Robert of Lafayette, Ind.; one sister, Hazel Gates of Dunedin, Fla.; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
He had worked as a courier for Brown's Automotive for several years.
