Thelma, 62, St. Marys, died at 12:40 a.m., at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of Douglas and Genevene (Chaffins) Prater. On Apr 26, 1975, she married Denis Fisher, who survives at the residence.

Also surviving are three children: Eric (Erin Bruckelmeyer) Prater and Terry (Cari) Fisher, both St. Marys, and Brandy (Andy) Opperman, Wapakoneta; a brother, Quinton (Susie) Prater, Lima; four sisters: Felsie Cassady and Lydia (Gary) Pennington, both Sidney, and Patricia (Dave) Kohlhorst and Bonnie (Ronnie) Slone, both St. Marys; and fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a grandson, Jamie Prater; two brothers: Clayton and Clinton Prater; and three sisters linked below.

Retired from Goodyear St. Marys, she had previously worked at Huffy Manufacturing. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys. She enjoyed collecting rocks and fossils, going out for coffee; working crossword puzzles; and taking family vacations and camping. Her whole life was centered on her family, and she looked forward to any kind of family get together.

Services will be at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Mary, with Rev. Barry Stechschulte, officiating. Private family burial rites will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery.
