Edna was born on April 8, 1932 to Martin Luther Robinson and Febra Nina Hughes Robinson in Loves Valley, Oklahoma. She passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, peacefully at her residence at the age of 87.
A resident of Love County most of her life, Edna worked at the Marietta Pants Factory and Cookie Shop in Marietta and later in life she became a Homemaker. She married William T. "Bill" Hill on May 15, 1950 in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2014. Edna enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. She attended The Assembly of God Church. Edna made the best banana pudding and was known to spend most of her time barefoot. Anyone that knew her, knew she did not like shoes. Some of her special interests included playing bingo or working in the yard. Her favorite past time was holding Bill's hand and spending time together.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Darrell Hill; four brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter, Casey Croonquist.
Survivors include her daughter, Tommie Louise Horn, of the home; son, Tom Hill and wife Cindy of Marietta; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Sean Kaminski, Chris Kaminski, Dustin Hill, Clayton Hembree, David Horn and Wayne O'Neal. Honorary pallbearer is Jose Mechado.
Time for visitation for family and friends will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to lunch and fellowship at the Eastside Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m.
