Thelma Delores Hall, 90, of Pineville passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones after battling Alzheimer’s disease for several years. Thelma was well-known for her love of decorating during the Halloween and Christmas seasons. She was recognized by the local newspaper and television station for her holiday spirit. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook, cheer at ballgames, and decorate Easter eggs with the ladies at the Pineville Church of God.

Born March 28, 1929 in Logan County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alpha Bailey (1902-1940) and Orpha Morgan-Bailey (1908-1930). In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lee Hall Sr. (1927-1990); ex-husband, James Gollihue (Deceased); two brothers, Robert Ken Bailey (1927-1999) and Howard Eugene Bailey (1922-1973); and an infant sister, Kathleen Bailey (1930-1933).

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Roger Gollihue & wife Pat Gollihue of Savannah, GA, Devonna Gollihue-Runyon & husband Keith Runyon of Wayne, WV, Barbara Gollihue-Justus of Pineville, WV, Phillip Gollihue & wife Sheila Gollihue of Anderson, IN, Tammy Gollihue-Harris & husband David Harris of Beckley, WV, Kathy Gollihue-Osborne & husband Ricky Osborne of Jesse, WV, and Coy Hall Jr. & wife Stacie Hall of Beckley, WV; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2019 at Evans-Calfee Funeral Service in Pineville from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral will be Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Pineville Church of God with the Reverend Norman Gray officiating. Thelma will be laid to rest at Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny, WV.
