Larry Lee Vaughn, 77, of Markleville, passed away after an extended illness on Oct. 29, 2019, at St. Vincent Anderson.
He was born June 10, 1942, in Anderson. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He retired in 1996 from Delco Remy after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed woodworking and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his Sunshine of 30 years, Nancy (Rector) Vaughn; daughters, Julie Hiatt, Brenda (Laurie Lesch) Bucci; son, Todd Grissom; grandchildren, Ryan Baker, Alex (Savannah) Collins, Dillon (Hillary) Hiatt, Adam (Kerrigan) Brosio; special friend, Cody (Heylee) Looper and their children, Minnie and Emory; beloved dog and best buddy, Biscuit; siblings, Garry "Pete" Vaughn, Vickie Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Vera Vaughn; siblings, Jean Burton and Garnett Vaughn.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
