Son of Robert and Roberta Hall. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy from 1942 -1945 on the U.S.S. Muir. He retired from Springs Industries as supervisor of 3rd shift. He was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church and the Kershaw Lion's Club. He also participated with Youth Serve. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rosa Lee Norton Hall; son, Carroll Ray Hall; and grandson, Joseph Carroll Hall. Surviving are his four children, Barbara Hall Ussery of Kershaw, Myra Hall Grau and her husband, Gus of Lancaster, Dennis C Hall and his wife, Kathy of Lancaster, and Christy Hall Broughton and her husband, Randy of Conway; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
