NILES — Marianne E. Miller, 81, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at 12:10 a.m. at Summa Health Systems — Akron Campus.

Marianne was born in Mingo Junction, Oct. 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles E. “Chick” and Anna Kathryn Haggerty McCabe, a 1955 graduate of Niles McKinley High School & West Liberty State College, achieving an associate degree in education. Mrs. Miller and her husband proudly owned and operated M7M Ceramics and Starlite Mold Co. for more than 40 years. Marianne was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. She looked forward to playing cards with her friends at the Niles Senior Citizen Center and local card club she belonged to. She found relaxation in painting, sewing and reading about various subject matters. Most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. “Murph” Miller, whom she married March 2, 1957. They celebrated 62 years of marriage this year; a daughter, Aimee (Albert) Cantola of Niles; three sons, Alan (Nancy) Miller of Canfield, Timothy Miller of Columbus and Murphy (Lora) Miller of Niles; a brother, Robert McCabe of Orlando, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Thomas Cantola, Larissa (Cameron) Betts, Rae Cantola, Murphy Miller, Sarah Miller and Connor Miller.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 614 Warren Ave. Niles, Ohio 44446, where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m. There will also be calling hours 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
