Funeral services for Corene Fisher will be held on Friday, November 1st, 2019 at the Reed-Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK at 2:00pm with Reverend David Wiens officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Price Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK. Corene Fisher was born on Sunday December 14th, 1941 in Tahlequah, OK. She was the daughter of Broxer Collins and Pearl (Ryder) Collins. She married her second husband James McNair on December 21, 1990 but sadly lost him June 11, 1996. She later met and married Norman "Shrimp" Fisher on Sunday February 14th, 1999, after returning to Tahlequah, OK. He could always make her laugh. Corene was an aunt and great aunt to many, as well as an amazing cook. She enjoyed having fun playing games, cards, bingo, softball, and watching the OU Sooners. Most of all, Corene loved God and was always praying over her family and sharing the love of Jesus with others. She could play piano and guitar. She was also a beautiful singer.
Corene went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 29th, 2019 at the age of 77.
She is preceded in death by her parents Broxer and Pearl Collins, her three brothers Broxer Collins Jr., Ray Collins, and Clint Collins, and her twin sister Irene, three of her children Jeffery Paul Sr., and twins Dewayne Van, and Lori Ann Anderson and her granddaughter Leslie Anderson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Scotty Dale, Michael Wayne. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Jeffery Paul Anderson Jr., Jaime Chapman, Cindy Kroll, Joshua Taylor Anderson, and Crystal St. John, nine precious great grandchildren, Trey, Ty, Bella, Brittney, Josie Dean, Jayden, Kinzayda, Keirstyn and Matthew Jayce as well as a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
