Mr. Gordon Lee Reed, 57, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5 PM until 7 PM in Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville. A private interment will be held in Black Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Reed was a native and lifelong resident of Milledgeville. He was the son of the late Marcus Allen and Emmie Lee Sloan Reed; and predeceased by sisters, Ella Louise Johnson, and Diane J. Lewis; and a brother, Jimmy Alvin Johnson, Sr. He enjoyed playing guitar and could play any instrument.

He is survived by his brothers, Sanford Reed (Alicia), and John William Johnson (Bonnie); nieces, Carol Walker (Thad), Teresa Lynn Patterson, Kylee Reed, Hattie Beth Johnson, and Tonya Robinson; nephews, Jimmy Johnson, Jr., Jesse Johnson, Marcus Johnson, John Johnson, Jr., and Jim Brookins; and a number of great nieces and nephews
