Matt was an Engineer with the Hattiesburg Fire Department and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Brittany Patterson of Sumrall, MS; parents, Glen and Brenda Patterson of Sumrall, MS; three sons, Jaxson Lamar Patterson, Jase Taylor Patterson, and Jordan Matthew Patterson all of Sumrall, MS; two sisters, Shannon Patterson Hankins (Brad) of Purvis, MS and Dawn Patterson Aultman (Mark) of Sumrall, MS; five nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
