On Sunday morning, August 25, 2019, Linda Kay Rankin, wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away at the age of 64 years. Linda Kay Rankin, born December 21, 1954 in Waxahachie TX. Married to Joe “Bink” Rankin on February 14, 2006.
Linda worked in customer service for many years, completed phlebotomy training, and active in the woman’s auxiliary at the American Legion. She had a passion for life. Could cut a rug with the best of them. She enjoyed going to the races and a good glass of wine.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Charlie Franklon Butler and step-daughter Kathy Turner.
Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband –Joe Rankin; her children: April Duncan, Kasse Loera and husband Josh Loera; Step Children - Randy Rankin, Danny and Sherri Rankin, Steve and Donna Rankin; her mother Mildred Butler, sister Lois Baxter, brother Alan Butler and his wife Donna. Grandchildren: William “Billy”, Raevyn, Ian, Donaven, Bailey, Cheyenne, Crysta, Douglas, Mackenzie, Garrett, Lyndsay, Dominik, Nathan, Noah, Brynlee.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis, Texas.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, August 31, at the American Legion Post 361, 706 Rumbo Rd, Ennis, TX 75119.
